Your product is made of PLNTFIBER™. Did you know that PLNTFIBER™ is made of 60% FSC-certified bamboo, 20% Himalayan nettle, 20% seaweed and eucalyptus? Bamboo, Himalayan nettle and eucalyptus don’t require any pesticides, fertilizers or additional water to what the natural environment offers.
Seaweed grows abundantly under the sea, meaning no fresh water is needed during the growth stage. We harvest ours every four years from Iceland, allowing for full regeneration in between.

In Austria, eucalyptus pulp and seaweed powder are turned into lyocell (a biobased man-made fiber), made through a closed-loop production system—a process that recycles water and reuses up to 99% of the solvents used.
The same closed-loop process is used to produce bamboo lyocell.
In Nepal, the nettle is mechanically processed in preparation for spinning.
Fabric

The fibers are sent to Portugal where they’re spun, knitted, dyed and applied with PPRMINT™ treatment. Then the fabric is cut and sewn together at a family-owned facility that is powered 60% by solar energy from solar panels onsite. The other 40% is energy purchased from clean sources like wind, dams or solar power.

Our PPRMINT™ is cultivated in India and the oil is produced in Thailand. Treating our products with natural, plant-based PPRMINT™ Oil Treatment Production prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria. Due to its antibacterial properties, you can wear clothing treated with PPRMINT™ many times before they need washing. This saves you water, energy and time while protecting the planet in the process.
Once the garment is ready, we deliver it to our distribution center in Derby, UK.
We partner with DHL Go Green to deliver to more than 120 countries, making sure our deliveries are entirely carbon neutral by using carbon credits towards initiatives, funds and projects dedicated to mitigating the impacts of greenhouse gases.

Technology summary
PLNTFIBER™ is a blend of bamboo lyocell, seacell lyocell and Himalayan nettle.
The main benefits of this technology:
Regenerated land
- All plants can self replenish and bamboo and nettle grow faster when being cut.
- The growth of bamboo and Himalayan nettle contributes to maintaining healthy soils and absorbs carbon, which naturally helps in fighting global warming.
- Nettle helps to control soil erosion and can help prevent landslides in the mountains of Nepal.
Improved livelihoods
- The harvesters for our wild growing Himalayan nettle are mostly women. The income they generate from harvesting nettle supplements their farming output. They use it to pay for animals, seeds, education, healthcare, and for building wealth.
An alternative to conventional cotton
- We are conscious that relying on one PLNTFIBER™ source such as cotton can lead to over-reliance and promote the practices of monocropping. Monoculture plantations (monocropping) weaken the soil, deplete soil nutrients, reduce local biodiversity and increase the risk of pests. By using renewable and fast-growing plants and grass, we are reducing the reliance on cotton and synthetics.
