A Fiber for the Future

Everything you need to know about EVO® by Fulgar.

Powered by Plants

Made using renewable raw materials, including castor beans and industrial corn, EVO® by Fulgar is a next-generation, 100% bio-based fiber. Engineered for high performance, it is lightweight, thermoregulating, and breathable. With a lower weight than polyester and faster drying performance than traditional nylon, EVO® offers peak comfort and functionality—without costing the earth.

The Problem

Traditional materials such as polyester and nylon generally have a significant environmental impact. Derived from petrochemicals, their production involves energy-intensive processes that release considerable amounts of CO₂ and other greenhouse gases. Based on finite resources, this results in a less environmentally friendly approach to manufacturing and contributes to a substantial ecological footprint.

The Solution

More than half of the raw material used in EVO® by Fulgar’s creation is sourced from an inedible castor plant. Grown wild on poor, dry soil not used for agriculture, it’s a crop that requires minimal water, maximises marginalized land and causes little disruption to existing ecosystems. The rest of its bio-based content comes from industrial corn planted on land that does not compete with the production of other traditional food crops. Approximately 40% of the corn kernel is used while the rest is sold for food and feed—reducing waste and highlighting the eclectic potential of renewable resources.
