PANGAIA x AIR-INK® by Jenke Ahmed Tailly: A celebration of African youth and culture

Shot by creative director Jenke Ahmed Tailly, this campaign showcases our limited edition capsule printed using AIR-INK® technology. This technology turns air pollution particles into water-based black ink, diverting harmful substances from the air we breathe.

The campaign

Inspired by the amazing transformation process behind AIR-INK®—turning air pollution into ink—and told through the lens of various creatives, this campaign celebrates African youth and culture, set against the backdrop of the city of Lagos in Nigeria. It stars supermodel Naomi Campbell, Nigerian musician Keziah Jones and other talent, celebrating the overflowing creative energy that submerges the city with so much authenticity.

A special infinity logo designed for this capsule

Exclusively designed for the PANGAIA x AIR-INK® capsule, the infinity symbol is connected to everything in life. It marks the beginning and the end, as a never-ending circle of life. It can be seen as a symbol that ‘you get what you give’. The infinity logo is a metaphor for our efforts as a brand, circular production and our vision to be an Earth Positive business that gives back more to the planet than we take.

Shot in Lagos, Nigeria

We were inspired by the beautiful, vibrant landscape of Lagos and the incredible mix of locals. It is one of the most vibrant cities in West Africa with a booming young generation (50% under 20). It offers a mix of culture between traditionalism and modernism, with alternative cultures emerging— from music and art to fashion and further. For us, Lagos is key in empowering the African narrative forward.
